I guess it needs to be running to keep the changes or inject them on restart. It seems to be a ‘stay resident’ program. There is a newer version of Advanced System Font Changer that I have not tried. A restart is needed to ‘set’ the changes and on that box it gets wiped on restart. My newer AMD box with Nvidia card is a no go. (surprise surprise with that!) This works just fine on my Intel box with a AMD video card and Radeon s/w. The version I use only makes a static change to the registry and allows a save of the changes that can just be re-merged if windows update messes with it. I have been using Advanced System Font Changer from for years.
